What Is Injection Molding:
Injection modling is a manufacturing process for producing parts in large volum. It is most typically used in mass production processes where the same part is being created thousands or even millions of times in succession.
The principal advantage of injection molding is the ability to scale production en masse. Once the initial costs have been paid the price per unit during injection molded manufacturing is extremely low. The price also tends to drop drastically as more parts are produced.Other advantages include to following:
Injection molding produces low scrap rates relative to traditinal manufacturing processes like CNC machining which cut away substantial percentages of an original plastic block or sheet. This however can be a negative relative to additive manufacturing processes like 3D printing that have even lower scrap rates. Notes: Waste plastic from injection molding manufacturing typically comes consistently from four areas: the sprue, the runners, the gate locations, and any overflow material that leaks out of the part cavity itself(a condition called"flash").
Equipped with a full range of CNC machining centers ,large gantry milling machines, vertical milling machine ,CNC engraving Machines electri spark(EDM),wire-cutters,etc.We have rich experiences in mould making ..We have 5 senior designers and 20 engineers who have more than 15 years experiences in mould making ..
How to check if the plastic chair mould is qualified?
1. Superposition: After the chair mold product is formed, we need to check the superimposed effect of the chair, such as stacking the verticality if it is straight, stacking 15 layers.
2. Gram weight: The general chair is 2.2kg. Overweight will increase the cost of the customer and cause loss of profits. If it is too light, the wall thickness will be reduced and the quality of the product will not meet the standard.
3. Load-bearing: Consider the possibility of deformation between the chair frame and the four legs. Generally, we test the use of one hundred kilograms of material instead of manual, stacking for 24 hours, and the deformation distance between the four legs can not exceed 3 cm.
4. Is the parting line sharp? It is dangerous to have a rough parting line on the chair. It is easy to scratch the skin of women and children, and must avoid sharp edges.
